I currently am shooting a BT-4 IronHorse. I am having a few issues with how to use the gun to maximize its effectiveness. I currently paintball in a few different fields that usually have a small stand of trees. There are about 15 of us who go on average. I have found that there are few tactics that are effective when trying to find, assess and outmaneuver the opposing team when dealing with such a small number in a field of about 60 or 70 acres. If you have any tactics for such a small group in such a large area, I would be glad to hear them. I unfortunatly seem to be the most "tactically aware." Being the oldest and most expeirienced paintball player usually means that they look to me. I have used a pair of people to flank one side, double envelopment and a few other tactics. These are usually most effective when one knows where the opponent is.
My second issue is that I learned to paintball on a spyder mr-1 with a 20 inch barrel. because of this, i started out sniping. That gun has incredible range. and accuracy for that matter. i once saw a guy about 200 yds away in the open, flipping me off. I figured i would just scare him by putting a few in his direction. i fired three shots, leading him and aiming high enough and i am man enough to admit, probably by luck, i shot his gun hand. he dropped the gun out of surpirse im sure rather than the sheer force, but it did earn me the nickname gunslinger. I have resigned myself though to letting the others get the kill. now, i usually direct the others and lay suppressive fire, or i just go straight up the middle to draw the attention and fire while the rest of the team hopefully does their job. At 6'4" and 220 pounds, i am most suited for the job. I used to run cross country too, so it helps me to avoid fire. My problem is that when i decide to sneak around someone or up on them, my gun shoots so loud that everyone knows where i am. Are there any modifications to make an ironhorse shoot quieter? I also have the issue of how to effectivley use suppressive fire. I usually just spray paint where i see goggles. I usually wear a harness that holds 1200 rounds and an air tank. This leads to another problem. Because i carry so much, i get really hot, and my goggles fog up really bad. i am currently using an extreme rage full head goggle system. do you have any advice on a goggle system suited for mil sim?
I apologize for the length of this post, but just to summarize, i could use advice on,
1 Tactics for small numbers in a large area
2 Sound suppression for a Bt 4 Ironhorse
3 suppressive fire tactics
4 effective no fog milsim goggle system
P.S. I was also curious if it would be worth the money to make a few modifications to my bt. i am considering some type of scope and possibly a barrel mounted launcher. if you have any advice on if these things are necessary or would help my game, and if so, what specific models would be best. I appreciate the advice

I saw that you like Call of Duty 4 so I thought you might be interested in a Free Xbox 360 Video Game Contest that my organization is throwing. By the way, is there any games you're looking forward to that are about to come out?
